Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, with a proven track record in requirements gathering, process modeling, and delivering successful IT projects in agile/waterfall environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders (business users, product owners, and technical teams) to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
- Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows, wireframes, and BRD/FRS documents.
- Conduct gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments for proposed solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, JAD sessions, and requirement prioritization using techniques like MoSCoW or Kano.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and project management teams to ensure requirements are accurately translated into technical designs and test cases.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), training, and post-implementation reviews.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance business efficiency.
- Manage requirement changes, traceability matrix, and version control of artifacts.
- Work on end-to-end project lifecycle in domains such as BFSI, healthcare, eCommerce, or enterprise applications.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on experience as an IT Business Analyst in software development or IT services companies.
- Strong domain knowledge in at least one sector (e.g., Banking/Finance, Healthcare, Retail/eCommerce preferred).
- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart, Balsamiq, or Axure for documentation and prototyping.
- Expertise in requirements elicitation techniques, UML diagrams, BPMN, and data modeling.
- Experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban), SDLC, and hybrid methodologies.
- Knowledge of SQL for data analysis, API documentation (Swagger/Postman), and basic understanding of technologies like cloud, microservices, etc.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Certifications like CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA (preferred).
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
