Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Generalist to manage end-to-end HR operations and support the organization in building structured HR processes, employee engagement, compliance, and performance culture. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to handling employee lifecycle management in a fast-paced IT environment and have the ability to implement HR policies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, employee documentation, attendance, payroll coordination, and exit processes.
Draft, implement, and maintain HR policies, SOPs, employee handbook, and internal HR procedures.
Coordinate with department heads and leadership to understand manpower planning and organizational requirements.
Handle employee relations, grievance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions as per company policies.
Support recruitment activities when needed by coordinating with hiring managers and TA team.
Drive employee engagement initiatives and ensure a positive workplace culture.
Manage performance appraisal cycles, review processes, and support managers in performance improvement plans (PIP).
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, PT, and other labor regulations.
Maintain HR MIS reports (employee data, attendance, attrition, onboarding status, performance tracking, etc.) and share periodic reports with management.
Conduct HR audits and ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance standards.
Support training & development programs and coordinate learning initiatives based on business needs.
Stay updated with HR trends, labor laws, and best practices to improve HR effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on experience as an HR Generalist (IT industry preferred).
Strong understanding of employee lifecycle management and HR operations.
Experience in policy drafting, HR documentation, and process structuring.
Knowledge of statutory compliance and labor laws in India.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple HR activities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong experience in HR MIS reporting and Excel-based tracking.
Exposure to HRMS tools and HR systems is an added advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
