Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in WordPress development, with a strong focus on custom theme and plugin development, Gutenberg block development, and integration with various technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Custom Theme Development: Design and develop responsive, high-performance WordPress themes tailored to client specifications.
- Plugin Development: Create and maintain custom plugins to extend WordPress functionality, ensuring compatibility and security.
- Gutenberg Block Development: Develop custom Gutenberg blocks to enhance content editing capabilities within WordPress.
- WordPress REST API Integration: Implement and manage RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange between WordPress and other platforms.
- Back-End Development: Utilize PHP and MySQL to build robust, scalable, and secure back-end solutions.
- Front-End Development: Employ JavaScript and jQuery to create dynamic, interactive user interfaces.
- Performance Optimization: Implement caching mechanisms and integrate Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) to enhance website performance and load times.
- Version Control and Deployment: Use Git/GitHub/GitLab for version control and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development workflows.
- LMS and CMS Implementation: Develop and maintain Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Content Management Systems (CMS) within the WordPress framework.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality web solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Over 8 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
- Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL.
- Extensive experience with custom theme and plugin development.
- Strong understanding of Gutenberg block development and the WordPress REST API.
- Familiarity with caching mechanisms and CDN integration for performance optimization.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, and platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Experience in developing and managing LMS and CMS platforms within WordPress.
